No Specific Work Location. Work to be performed in Columbia, Dane, Green Lake, Racine, Rock, Walworth Counties

Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing to worksite. The employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, or equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Consults with Site Manager about scheduled work and work assignments. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. On Bus Route? No

Pay: $17.34 Per Hour

All deductions required by law will be made from the worker's paycheck. All workers are subject to reasonable repair cost of damage, other than that caused by normal wear and tear, may be charged to worker found to have been responsible for damage to housing or furnishings. Workers who quit or are terminated for cause prior to completing 50% of the contract will be required to reimburse the employer for full amounts of advanced and/or reimbursed transportation and subsistence.

This is a full-time temporary job from 03/01/23 to 12/15/23.

Shift/Work Days: First Shift.

Monday-Friday. Hourly work schedule: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.. Workers are paid Biweekly

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have a CDL or appropriate driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Employer will conduct post-hire and random drug testing at employer's expense to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires extensive sitting or walking depending on the job and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to communicate in English.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

Employees will drive quad axle and sometimes tri-axle trucks to haul and apply fertilizer to fields. Assist with mixing, loading and spreading of fertilizer and chemical products including but not limited to Anhydrous Ammonia. Employees will need to assist with loading, unloading, and hauling grain to and from fields to storage locations. Assist with monitoring and maintaining grain quality. Assist with the operations of the scale to weigh products. Sweep and clean out grain bins. Ability to operate single or double axel trucks, forklifts, scale operations, augers and front-end loaders and application equipment. Assisting in general housekeeping of ALCIVIA facilities to keep dirt and debris at a minimum. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles as needed to keep equipment in proper working order.


Housing is provided at no cost to non-local workers who are not reasonably able to return the same day to their place of residence. Housing is not provided to non-workers. Employer provides separate sleeping and bathroom facilities for each gender. Employer possesses and controls premises at all times. Workers must vacate housing promptly at end of contract period or upon termination, in accordance with state law.


The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and space for food preparation, as well as the necessary equipment, appliances (including refrigeration), cooking accessories, and dish washing facilities (e.g., adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure) that are in working condition and will be used by non-local workers to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals a day. Employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals. In the event that kitchen facilities become unavailable during the contract period, employer will provide three daily meals in accordance with 20 CFR 655.122(g). In such circumstances, employer will deduct the cost of such meals up to the maximum allowable amount published in the Federal Register, or as otherwise approved by the U.S. Department of Labor.


Daily transportation to/from worksite will be provided to the workers at no charge (e.g. designated daily pick-up place).


For non-commuting workers, employer pays/reimburses reasonable travel costs (transportation, daily subsistence, and lodging if applicable) from the place worker departed to the employer's place of employment. subsistence will be reimbursed at the rate of $14.00 per day without documentation and of actual expenditures, and at actual cost up to a maximum of $59.00 per day with documentation of actual expenditures.
