Work Site: No Specific Work Location.


Work will be performed in Rock, Walworth WI County; McHenry, IL County. The employer will provide, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Worker will be paid weekly.

Pay: $18.15 Per Hour


All deductions required by law will be made from the worker's paycheck. The employer will provide workers' compensation insurance coverage in compliance with State law covering injury and disease arising out of and in the course of the worker's employment. At the time of hire, the employer must provide a worker hired to this position, copy of the work contract between the employer and the worker in a language understood by the worker as necessary or reasonable.


Duration/Usual Hours Per Week:

Full-Time, 36 Hours Per Week Minimum

This is a full time temporary job from Jul 01, 2025 to Aug 02, 2026. Standard work week is Monday through Friday. In addition, Saturday 6 hrs. work required.


Shift/Work Days:

First Shift. Workers may volunteer to work additional hours but are not required to work more than stated daily hours and/or on a worker's Sabbath or federal holidays.

Hourly work schedule: 7:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.

Experience / Qualifications:

3 months experience required. The job offered requires that the worker be available for work six (6) hours per day Monday through Saturday, every day that work is available, and for the full anticipated period of employment, even though work may be slack for a brief period of time. The worker agrees to be available for work and perform the assigned tasks whenever work is available through the full anticipated period of employment. Work available is defined as: no work required on the worker's Sabbath or Federal holidays, but work is required six (6) hours per day Monday through Saturday. All applicants must be able (with or without reasonable accommodation), willing, and qualified to perform all the work described, and must be available for the entire anticipated period of employment. Extensive bending over, pushing and pulling, walking, and repetitive movements. Criminal Background and Drug test will be conducted.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:


Agriculture Equipment Operator to operate equipment used to when detasseling corn. Require a regular driver's license and must have a CDL or equivalent or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Will be responsible for operating the vehicles used to move crops on the farm. Must be able to safely operate the buses that are used to transport workers to and from worksites. Should be able to provide proof of accident-free driving record and background. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Operate forklifts and equipment used to move supplies and harvesting equipment in the field. Maintain harvest equipment. Must be able to reach, bend and lift items weighing 80 pounds. Must be able to work outdoors in dusty/dirty conditions, at extreme heat and cold inclement weather. Must be able to listen to, understand, and follow simple instructions of supervisors and dispatcher. Must be able to work infields where ants, snakes and poison ivy are encountered. The alternative work is truck maintenance and farm maintenance including the repair, irrigation, vehicles and various equipment and tools used on the farm. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.

The employer will provide housing at no cost to those workers who are not reasonably able to return to their residence within the same day.

If the employer is providing housing which has a kitchen, they will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities to the workers to make their own meals. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services). Dining, kitchen/cooking facilities and other common areas are shared by all workers. In the event that kitchen facilities become unavailable during the contract period, employer will provide three daily meals in and deduct the cost of such meals no more than $16.28 per day.

For workers residing in employer provided housing, the employer offers daily transportation from the housing to the place of employment.

For applicants from outside of the normal commuting area: employer must pay/reimburse reasonable costs incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer to the place of employment, reimbursement must be made no later than 50% through the contract period. If the worker completes the work contract period, or if the employee is terminated without cause, the employer must provide or pay for the worker's transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer. Daily subsistence while traveling: Minimum $16.28 per day/Maximum $68.00 per day (with documentation of actual expenses)

The employer guarantees to offer the worker employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.

The employer will provide workers' compensation insurance coverage in compliance with State law covering injury and disease arising out of and in the course of the worker's employment.

At the time of hire, the employer must provide a worker hired to this position, copy of the work contract between the employer and the worker in a language understood by the worker as necessary or reasonable.

The employer will keep accurate and adequate records with respect to each worker's earnings and must furnish to the worker on or before each payday in one or more written wage statements.
