ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR ALL!

Awareness, Access To, and Acquisition of Assistive Technology

WisconsinAT4All is a resource that can help you identify the assistive technology that works best for you.

WisTech partners with the Independent Living Centers so it's important to work with the IL Center that provides services for the county where you live. You can search for the Independent Living Center that covers where you live on the

AT devices are also listed on here from the school based Assistive Technology Lending Center (ATLC/CESA #2). The devices from the ATLC are only available to school district staff and students under age 21.

Our partners can offer demonstrations and in many cases short term loans (30 days or less depending upon their policies) of devices that can help you to be more independent.

This is not a "shopping" website and the equipment you want to borrow needs to be requested from the program that serves your county.

A maximum of 5 devices can be requested for loan at any one time, and programs will connect with you about how to make the demonstration or loan happen. They will also make sure that the equipment you want to borrow is a good match for what you need. There may be options you are not aware of! After the demo/loan you will be directed to a resource for purchasing, and given info on funding options

WisTech (Department of Health Services) provides short term loans for iPads, and other tablets or smartphones for people with disabilities around Wisconsin.

There are also assistive technology devices that are available to give away or to sell for a reduced costs listed on this site.

Programs listing free equipment on this website have the right to limit the number of items given away to an individual, may restrict services to a specific geographic area, or have other program specific service criteria or policies.

Southeastern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. Whilst Southeastern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board strive to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
